The Best Makeup Dupes In The Market
Beauty for less? I’m down.
Despite our beauty guru dreams of endless drawers full of makeup, it isn’t always possible. Sometimes our wallets get thin and our bank accounts get hungry (and so do our tummies), meaning there really isn’t any cash to spend and splurge on high-end products, as much as we want to!
Being broke doesn’t mean giving up on your makeup routine, though. Your face can still look fab on a budget — below, we’ve rounded up some of our fave drugstore dupes for high-end makeup.
Keep on scrolling to see your list, and give these drugstore babies a chance! You never know, you might just fall in love with one and stick with it forever.
For MAC Studio Fix Fluid: Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation
MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid with SPF 15 is high-coverage and extremely long-lasting. Actors, TV personalities, and musicians often rely on this foundation as it doesn’t look cakey at all, and leaves the face with a flawless finish.
A close drugstore find to this fan-favorite foundation is Maybelline’s Fit Me: Matte + Poreless Foundation. Its formula makes it particularly ideal for oily skin types, because it specifically targets reducing shine and creating an even skin tone.
Fit Me is medium-coverage, but it’s fairly easy to build up towards a more high-coverage finish, making it work as a light concealer that can hide redness and unwanted marks. It’s also very lightweight and easy to blend with your fave foundation brush or sponge.
For Urban Decay’s Signature NAKED Palettes: Maybelline’s The Nudes
Every makeup lover out there has heard of these eyeshadow palettes. From Naked 1 to Naked 3, these cult faves from Urban Decay are known for serving the most pigmented eyeshadows to complement every skin tone. The shades are all super pretty and super blendable, but also super expensive.
Get a similar eye look for less with The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette from Maybelline. Like the ones from Urban Decay, it contains 12 shades of different beiges, browns, and bronzes, but with more matte shadows than the OG Naked palette. Admittedly, the color payoff isn’t as great as Naked, but it’s still pretty long-lasting and well worth your money— just layer up some more color.

For Kylie Cosmetics’ Koko K Lipkit: NYX Lip Lingerie in Embellishment
Matte lippies are all the rage, and we always want to get our hands on the best ones in the market. The struggle, though, is finding the perfect liquid lippie: one that’s matte in finish without drying out our lips. When Kylie Jenner came out with her now-famous lip kits, we thought we found the answer to our prayers — but the price point is admittedly pretty high.
Luckily, NYX Professional Makeup came out with their own take on the liquid lipstick, and I kid you not, they came through. Their Lip Lingerie collection consists of matte liquid lippies with names related to underwear (hence the name Lip Lingerie), and in the most gorgeous nude shades.
But that’s not the best part! The color pigmentation is amazing and as matte as promised, but it also does it without being drying on the lips in any way. Who knew we could get the best of both worlds with just a couple of bucks?
For Benefit Cosmetics’ The Porefessional Face Primer: Maybelline’s Baby Skin Pore Eraser
Makeup with the most flawless finish? Ask and you shall receive — the makeup gods have heard us and blessed us with The Porefessional Face Primer from Benefit Cosmetics. But when we run out of product, we can’t always immediately repurchase a new tube.
Luckily, Maybelline has their own way of smoothing and refining skin before putting on makeup through their Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. Like The Porefessional, it works to minimize pores, all while giving you baby skin in the process.
For the BeautyBlender: Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Another cult beauty favorite is the original Beauty Blender. The trusty and ever-dependable teardrop-shaped sponge has been around for years and has never disappointed loyal fans. That said, the price can seem a bit steep for such a small product (although if you have the cash to spare, it’s pretty worth it).
The good news is that there are tons of more affordable options for makeup sponges. One such option is the Miracle Complexion Sponge from Real Techniques. Our tip is to wet it and use it when damp so it blends well, leaving your skin looking airbrushed and professionally done.
And that’s it for our rundown on the best drugstore dupes for everyone’s favorite splurge-on makeup!
